I'm trying to organize subfolders in the autoexec "Script" folder, so that I have one subfolder for each job. I just got back to the game from a 3 year long break, and have forgotten almost everything about stuff like this. But I'm pretty sure I used to have subfolders for every job, I just dont remember how to get my in game macro to be directed to a specific subfolder.

Right now a macro looks like this for me:

/console exec MNK_WS.txt

All my macro txt files is now in the main script folder, how do I make a macro that will find the mnk ws macro if its in a MNK subfolder?

iirc, say the folder is called MNK, it would be;

/console exec MNK/MNK_WS.txt

I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me, but that's how I remember it.

Macros: Subfolder named MNK. Text file named ws.
/console exec MNK/ws.txt

if you typing it directly into the chat log. you're allowed to //exec MNK/ws.txt

Autoexec is not exactly the same as this. These are simply "Script Macros" or "Windower Macros".

To run one from a folder dale's right, just do /console exec "MNK/mnk_ws.txt"

I'm not sure if the " " are required but mine have them and I think they are if you have a space in the file name.
