Quick question, why wouldn't this work?

<register event="chat_tell_character name_wave" silent="true">wait 1;input /console exec wave.txt</register>

When I send a tell "wave" nothing happens. Does autoexec not exec console scripts?

Or better yet, this is what I want it to do.

Yea it's Sithel, that was just an example.

I know autoexec is working because I have a follow command to autoexec and it's fine.

I basically want a heal command to stop the auto follow.

Here's my follow command that works.

Wonder why this works for some and not others. I think I've heard of this happening on the windower forums to. I copied and pasted that exactly but changed the name and still don't work. And yes I'm running hte latest version of Windower and AutoExec.

trying to get autoexec to make mule use spells on my current target.

Flash won't work, it's trying to target yourself for it. Dunno why Holy won't though. Could try:

input /assist "Main"; input /ma "Holy" <t>

input /wait 1 won't work, it'd simply be "wait 1". input /assist xnite; wait 1; input /ma "Holy" <t>


It's been a while since I've dabbled with AutoExec (and even when I played, I didn't have the need to do much with it), so I'm all out of ideas I'm afraid D:

Just recently started using autoexec and i like it. im sure there is a lot of this can do. anyone mind posting their codes for it? mule/solo/weather/buff detections anything.

Mine never did anything spectacular, would spit out day/weather changes along with any guilds that were closed. Also included a brief overview of the Dyna camps that were open in specific zones for JA procs. Also had a few auto-accept invites for when I was dualboxing - for the sake of ease. Also had it change macros for jobs, because /lazy.

You have to make separate files for each character see below:

I want to set up a autoexec command like

y wouldnt it work ? auto-join works the same, there is 1 instance i know it would be useful. if anyone knows the event id i could prob write it myself. or any other idears i would appreciate it

There is no event for it, that's why it doesn't work.

If you identify the packet, you could use Lua to simulate an Enter key press, but that has annoying side effects, even aside from still being a bad idea.

You're probably thinking of afking in plasm farm as NM blood holder or 2-boxing it for double the points, my best guess. I doubt Windower team would implement the feature for such use :D
You'll have to learn to program or look elsewhere, probably.

Add this to AutoExec, it'll only trigger when you lose RR though, I can't think of a way to do it with Raise while you don't gain a status effect:

Little late to respond, the reason why your commands aren't working is because you're using <t> and <bt> in the code, change those to & lt;t& gt; and & lt;bt& gt; (without the spaces) and that should work.

Unless you have your instances of windower linked somehow, I'm pretty sure client side you would have to be engaged and execute a /assist command.

I would honestly use a /p trigger. But, as far as the actual coding, I don't know how I would do it standalone, as you would have to manually load the auto_exec.
