Has anyone been able to successfully spawn the 5000 point mob in hamlet defense multiple times? I've been rewarded the 5000 points once in a lvl 2 hamlet but have been unable to replicate the conditions for it yet. I've seen quite a few threads speculating as to the conditions yet no one has a definitive answer so far. Someone mentioned killing all the beastmen (except the boss) with at least 10min remaining but I've replicated that condition with no luck. There must be other conditions in addition to that.

So far I've tried getting a deathless (party and militia) win. Killed all beastmen besides boss with >10min remaining also with zero deaths. Kited boss around until <5min were left on the clock (no deaths). Kited the boss and some of the last waves around until <5min left (no deaths).
I've seen someone else mention certain mobs have different weapons. Can anyone confirm this? I haven't checked that theory yet.

wish I could speculate, It's like pulling teeth to get a party for this on my server even in my LS's. Think most are scared.

I think it's mostly people are lazy on our server. they'd rather stand around in town.

Most people just "don't want to lose" so they wait for other people to figure ***out and only join once they've got it sorted.
The amount of times I've had a LS go completely silent because I asked if anyone wanted to actually do something...

Back on topic. I hadn't noticed those either but I could keep an eye out for them whenever I go.

I might be doing some lvl 1 hamlets today to try some different strategies to get it to pop. Hopefully it can show up in a lvl 1, I don't see any reason why not, and its a less demanding and stressful environment in which to test.

Filt, I feel your pain. I've tested out a lot of things (most of what you've mentioned) and no luck so far.

Do you remember the party setup you had for the 50k+ run? Do you remember anything unique about that run? What mob type is the 3rd nonbeastman? When did it pop?


And yes, Hyperion NA is terrible at doing Hamlet, very hard to find members who want to participate :( That being said, I'll probably be doing it nonstop this weekend if I can get top20 and the Hamlet is Lv2.

It was in Grid, lvl 2 hamlet. I don't remember seeing the mob but I've heard its a zombie.

If you figure anything out let us know, have been trying to find some info on this like all week but getting people motivated to do hamlet just isn't happening because the drop rates suck and you can't even get half the items if you aren't a provisioner.

Some theories revolve around the 3 unique beastmen in each hamlet, try killing them first or last in each wave maybe?

Maybe holding the boss where the nm spawns?

Someone from my server compiled a good bit of info on it, its actually got more info than the xivpads guide so heres a link to that.

Getting rid of Gatherers poison and making sure there is no slip damage death cause the zombie to pop.
Like mentioned at beginning making sure the soldiers kill (finish off) the mobs is the main requirement.

This is a very odd requirement, but using this once and seeing if it works can't hurt also for the sake of figuring more out along the way.

Its actually a decent idea I haven't tried yet. The group where I accidentally popped this mob we had a few gather/crafters and we ran the mobs to the backline archers to die. Might have been inadvertently feeding the militia kills.

With that discovery it basically means the best way to do this would be have a tank job, some white mages and the rest DOL/DOH I suppose. Kind of interesting.

Confirmed. Letting the archers kill the unique mobs does in fact cause the 3rd non-beastman to spawn.

You have to let them kill the 3 unique beastmen. I have taken pictures of the ones for uldah and grid, just need to do aleport next time its up and identify them

They spawn in the same pattern as the ones in hyrstmill, just watch for them.
