Couple Of Quick Questions

Howdy all. :) Had a few questions that I've tried googling and researching some, but haven't really been able to pinpoint everything, so maybe some of you can help me out.

Is there a means of server transferring atm? I'd like to transfer my character to a certain server but I'm not finding the option to transfer him, well, anywhere at all under either the account management website, or within the client itself.

Speaking of the client, is there a FFXIV windower I should know about/can use? I understand that since there aren't any ps2 limitations and the game was made more recently that most things that are fixed with ffxi windower don't have to be dealt with nowadays, but I wouldn't mind knowing my frame rate etc.

Lastly, when I played the game for a short amount of time I had some issues with monsters not rendering at random intervals - like they would spawn but it would just be their names, so I couldn't target and hit them. It would resolve itself if I ran far enough away and came back but that's near impossible in highly-populated areas like dungeons etc. and needless to say it's quite irksome after a while when the cactuars or whatever you're linking for exp start becoming invisible after 5~10 minutes.

as far as i know there is no way to transfer servers currently. they did offer the option when the servers were merging but now that they are settled, we probably wont see any kind of option till post 2.0 (which will be around october i think).

and no there is no windower. the game has most of the functions that XI windower gives and they will allow people to add "plug in" type things like XI has, in the future (similar to how WoW lets people make their own). if you want FPS shown, google fraps. i use it all the time, it also allows you to take screenshots and record videos (though video length is limited unless you pay... but FPS meter is free).

as far as the mobs not rendering, that used to happen to me every now and then too... forgot about it till you said that. which is to say i have not seen it happen at all lately, and i haven't heard of the issue with others lately. so hopefully that means its fixed XD

Uh, this is not true. I know several people who use windowers. There's at least 2 in fact...though I'm not going to be much help at the moment because I don't bother with them myself lol. I'll try to ask friends in game later if someone doesn't post a solution before then, but for now I'm hitting the sack so I won't be dead tired on mother's day.

Just note, this is nothing like the windower in XI, all this does is full screen your game while running in windowed mode.

well crap. I missed my gallon of PCP. Any consolation prize?

1. Right now, no server transfers. That happened during merge.

2. PS3 limitations.

3. What are your specs? I only had that problem when I was running xiv on one of my other computers that couldn't handle the game well.

That's the windower I use.
I never full screen so I dunno how well that works, but it allows you to show FPS as well as dual box. (run the client multiple times)

stuff probably relevant to this issue:
Windows 7 64 Bit
AMD A6-3400M APU processor with Radeon HD Graphics
AMD Radeon 6700M Series (the aforementioned HD Graphics card)
Quad core
4GB of RAM

but it's weird, because I can run TERA at really high settings without a problem, and that game is beautiful as ***. I think the issue is

I'll try lowering my texture filtering and other settings considerably and see if that affects it, and then just bring it up one notch at a time until it happens again implying it does fix it. If you have any other suggestions I'd be all ears. :)
