A good friend/ls leader past away March 13, 2012. You will be missed bud! Not too many people got the chance to know him. Here is a lil something for you that didn't. I used to go to his events every single day for about 6 months, my pc crashed and my disk wouldn't work so he goes out and buys a limited edition disk and sends it to me as a gift. Never met me in RL but that didn't matter to him as long as we all enjoy our time together.

I didn't know him all too well, but he came across as a sound guy. I recall his name from as far back as Remora. My respects to him and condolences to those affected.

I tend to avoid forums, but saw this on the off chance. Judging by all the posts on his facebook account he was in a fatal car accident sometime over the last couple of days. He hadn't played for a good few months having gotten a decent job amongst other things.
He was the kind of guy that you'd always say hi to no matter what you were doing in game, always put others before himself and would always offer to help you with anything. Never knew him personally like several others that knew him in game, but really sad to hear about it none the less. RIP friend, was nice knowing you.

That's sad to hear especially with how young he was... He was a good friend and will be missed.

thats so horribly sad.. he was one of my best friends on here. he died doing what he was very well known for, caring about somebody else. i can already tell that no matter how old i get, the good days of FFXI will always be one of the fondest memories. and when i think back to what made my time on Remora so great, ill definitely be remembering friends like you buddy!

I am really sad to hear this, we were friends for awhile, he was a nice and funny guy. Rest in peace man =(
I can't say I knew Willoflame, but based on the replies here, it sounds like he was a decent person. Very sad to lose a respectable member of our community.

In my line of work, I deal with tragedy like this all the time ... but it simply never gets any easier.

I didn't know Will but from the sound of it he sounded like a great person who went out of the way for others without expecting anything in return. It's truly sad to see someone like him go who was so willing to perform good deeds for others to make their life a little easier and brighten up their day. The world needs more people like him and it is sad to see him go, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and may he rest in peace.

[35 days between previous and next post]I seldom check FFXIAH forums anymore as I've gone back to WoW but I stumbled upon this only now.
I just want to say that as a former player and someone who on a former account used to butt heads with Will often, I still had great respect for his character. He was always trying to do good for others, always thinking of others, and I believe that Remora & Leviathan were better places because of him. I've got this feeling of wanting to apologize to him for all the vile exchanges between us now.
