Melee Gaiters Counterstance Question
Do you need to keep these Feet on fulltime for the Counterstance bonus? Or can you remove them after using the ability and still keep the bonus?
You can remove them once you used Counterstance.

I have these and i use the same macro, but one thing i was curious about that i haven't been able to find any recent threads about is how well Counterstance stacks with the default trait. I know the hard cap is 80 and with Gaiters + stance It's 60%. But does that stack with the ~13% or so (according to wiki) from the default trait, making it roughly 73%?
This is assuming maximum effectiveness with capped accuracy already factored in. From my understanding, Counterstance increases your overall Counter to 50% (60% with boots). The Job trait is not added to coutnerstance.

So you would need another 20% counter to cap it, so between gnarled horn and merits you can get pretty close.
