Caladabolg Build.
very interesting with the new tp set idea.
I deleted the set, it seems like the sphere bonus isn't granted to the wearer...

Still great for buffing your party, but not so great for winning parses I suppose :P Screw it, remaking sets and posting them. *grumble* I hate reworking gear sets.

Waist, legs, earring will vary depending on buffs, food, and enemy stats. Idk if this has been asked but, in my WS set for tor, i have 60 STR and 58 VIT outside abys for body piece i use the NQ grim and my question is would it be better to use Byrnie+1 or stay with the grim? its been on my mind because im wondering will that 5 VIT out weight the loss of 10 STR and 7 attack
Grim will be the better of the two unless the 7 attack and 10 str doesn't do anything for you, which would be against weak meaningless mobs.
As for Revelation's set. it will miss the 7 hit build so you will have to put in like 2 stp in (+33 stp overall for tp to ws in any gear), ideally in the ammo slot. so is Jingang Hose the best to ws in?
It is all about knowing the mob you are fighting. LR up or down, if your attack isn't capped, it is still best to stack attack over VIT, especially when level correction comes into play, making attack a bigger factor. Also, LR should make every attack you add even bigger, so unless you are sure that you are capped, attack is the way to go.
I personally have 3 torcleaver sets that I use depending on the mob. An attack set, a mixed set, and a VIT set, and I trigger them in game through spellcast. I agree mostly with Gradd's set. I think I would use tarasoul over rajas, and moonshade over brutal. Snow gorget vs apathy is even in my case, and I would think that gorget would come up on top without moonshade since you are adding 0.1 on 4.85 instead of adding 0.1 on 5.10. In addition, with all the VIT you have in your second set, apathy will add a lot less since your D+WSC is so high already. I think the breakeven point is 230 D+WSC, if you are higher than 230, you should go with snow gorget, if lower, apathy should win out. But either way it is like 5-10 damage difference so it is not a big deal. Ragnarok.Returner said: it is still best to stack attack over VIT, especially when level correction comes into play Keep your attack on of course. You still need 2.2 ratio and anything still throwing level correction at you is gonna give you plenty of headroom, the reason just isn't level correction. Level correction does increase the value of adding attack.
Example: level 90 mob, 400 defense, 500 attack. Add 50 attack, the improvement in ratio is 10%. But if you take a level 100 mob with the same stats, the increase is 16.667%. Body slot is a common place to equip Store TP, but you're having to give that up. dat fudo/kaitennnnnnnnnnnnnn also, graddface, is 10 atk (commonly 9) really worth it over 1 str, 5 vit and 2% da with lr down? i'd imagine jingang greaves would win full time even <_> Fenrir.Nightfyre said: Level correction does increase the value of adding attack. You want numbers? I give you drama, AND numbers.
What's up with the 430 delay!? Oh man, I really wish I could properly 5 hit or 6 hit this. I don't hate the delay of Caladbolg but ... damn I really wish it could've been 500+ like some of the options we have, such as a Jingsomething Great Sword or Naglering~ Pandemonium.Ironguy said: Fenrir.Nightfyre said: The heavy armor seems pretty much useless for most of the jobs that can equip it at this point. Your probably right tho X= Lakshmi.Seoha said: HI MAME!!! what i am using right now =D
