Weaponskill Setups

Looking for some serious help on my weaponskill setups. Ascetic's for inside Abyssea and Asuran for outside. I've had a real hard time trying to find a balance for Asuran and well Ascetic's Fury is completely different now with Abyssea. I know you guys take MNK very seriously here so I hope you can give me the same great advice.

I have all DD atmas, RR VV A&O (Only 2 atma tho) etc so keep that in mind when making recommendations for AF please.

Aside from the most obvious thing, WS gorgets, I'm not sure what to tweak.

Asuran Fists

would use anwig salade on fury too
i had better results with shura head over genbu's
so i really only had VIT where it also had STR
KO/Tathlum/Spiral/Warwolf/kemas etc

while were on it
read somewhere that light gorget works for smite
wiki does not show it so curious if it really does

set so far
dropped galea to get salade since v.helm covers all my heavy dd jobs
have not done mission yet
going to get str4/wsacc15/acc10 set

dont need so much acc on MDK head. Get ws dmg +2% instead...

This is my VS set, but I'd use the same thing for Fury so it still applies

I think what you're going to hear the most(For Ascetic's, at least) is, first, get a new pair of H2H. Destroyers are pretty out dated now and there are some fairly easy-to-get ones out there in Abyssea(Taurine&Fruor).

Also, I would invest some time in getting an Atheling Mantle. It's a lot easier to get than you would imagine, it's a 100% drop off of Orthrus in Abyssea - Altep popped with the Key Item from another NM in Altep called Amarok popped with Tiger King's Hide, H.Q. Dhalmel Hide, and Sharahba Hide (or something like that).

Instead of Byakko's use something like Shura Haidate and try to get your hands on Tantra Gaiters and Tantra Cyclas/Kirin's Osode. And, personally, I would use Ire Torque instead of Chivalrous Chain, at least inside of Abyssea. And Anwig as above mentioned.

Also, depending on your jobs getting a Thunder Gorget would not be that hard at all. 10 Xzomit Organs, 5 Hpemde Organs, and 1 Yovra Organ. I went out to sea as THF/DNC farmed 5 Hpemde(Goldfish) then killed the big Xzomits(Squid) for those 10, the big ones in the "school" are 100% drop, then for my Yovra organ I soloed a HQ Yovra on NIN/DNC, wasn't difficult at all and ended up skilling up on it for the last 30% or so.
