Honestly, if some people gonna get it for PS3, we could even form a band of outlaws.

First game was pretty shitty, so this doesn't appeal to me at all.

First game was by a different company. This one is by the people that made GTA IV.

Yet more reason for me not to buy it.

Well to each his own, I suppose. Even though I was never a fan of the GTA series in general, GTA IV was a complete change from the original immature mold of the older games, and at least top 5 on Xbox360 in general.

GTAIV is the worst GTA in the complete series.

Then again, there are also people that liked FF12 and FF13.

Personal preference, is what it boils down to. I tend to prefer games that are...You know...Good.

GTAIV traded in good gameplay and storytelling for graphics.

GTA2 is my favourite GTA. it lost everything that made it good when it went 3D imo.

Pretty much every sandbox game where "OMG DRUGS AND *** LOLZ" is ***. the original GTA games had a dark humour, and that's what made them good.

I never cared for Wild West theme'd games. I can't bash it because I've never tried, but it doesn't appeal to me in terms of looks. Saving my money for Crackdown 2, Blur, and Mario Galaxy 2, since I actually know I'll enjoy those.

What's so great about this game anyway? Seems to be a lot of hooplah about it.

Got this game yesterday.. and let me tell you. It's everything GTAIV couldn't be and MORE.

cool. i didn't play gtaiv. played the original gta w/ my nephew a long time ago. then gta 3? on the ps2 for a bit. got bored with it fast.

but i like westerns. clint eastwood, john wayne. good stuff. looks like a neat game.

It's a great game with good setting. In town you play poker, five-finger filet, blackjack or get drunk. You can take on bounties for wanted criminals. You can patrol the town, you can break horses or you can ride out and find a horse you like and catch it.(Although that's difficult >:o)

On the countryside you get robbed, tricked or attacked by a pack of wolves. You have cannibals, graverobbers, crazy miners and other travelers..

It's going to take a while before I get sick of this game.

sounds really cool. they also just released a ps3 'ware' (not sure what they call them, but it's like wii ware only on the PS3 store) that's a western game. it looked neat. i'll get this instead though.

i'm going to mention this to my friend ryan. in fact, i wouldn't be the least surprised if he has it already.

Honestly, ive tried to find a reason to keep this game from gamefly, ive tried HARD to like it. But i keep coming to the conclusion that it really isnt that great for me. I LOVED the first one. The first one was dumb fun for 4 friends, like an old N64 game, youd never stop laughing while playing with 4 ppl. This new one pretty much is grand theft auto. Instead of your fat cousin ringing you up every 5 minutes, you have poker. You can steal horses just like cars. You can shoot anyone you want, and you get a wanted level. Those are just a few similarities of the many. The entire game is piss poor easy, even on the hardest difficulty. Especially if you reserved from gamestop and got the 2x deadeye regeneration. The world is too big and you have to ride from town to town too often, which takes forever. Yes there is a fast travel system, but its poorly executed in that you have to set up a camp to use it. The game has glitched during missions to make them unpassable like 3 times now, so i had to restart 30 minutes back. Thats all i can think of off hand, im sure ill find more within 5 minutes of playing....but thats enough for me to not like it.

Man, I'd kill for that. I have only the golden guns, dlc.
