Only way I'd do T0 for free is if I'm in a serious LS that has good karma rolling. Really in the long run it boils down to how greedy you are with the 1 minute you spend crafting that one item.

I've had asked a high lvl crafter to make me a low lvl HQ and it didn't happen. I still tipped him and went about my business. 10 minutes later I get a /tell saying {/trade}? It was the crafter and he tele'd out to where I was just to trade the NQ for a HQ. Just for his troubles I tried to tip, but he said no thnx and warped.
