With all current duration gear, including this piece, songs can now last up to 9:36. Yahoo. My original comment about not liking these was pretty old, when SoA wasn't out and endgame content was mainly Legion. Back then (imo) the stat boost from using af pieces seemed like the better trade off. Now with the crazy stats on everything, you're not really sacrificing much to use duration gear. Also@Tedril, if you want a healing piece, the nq version of these is much better.

Another duration piece... Interesting. I'm curious to see just how long we can pump up song duration with all the available gear options for it.

Is there a cap? If not, how high can it go? Questions I certainly want to get to testing once I finish my harp and, eventually, mythic dagger.

I bow to Calipso's knowledge, after testing I find she is correct about 9m 12s being max (for the gear that is available now). However, it is still possible to ride out nightingale/troubador with 9m 12s duration on songs. Example: you have the relic gear augmented that extends duration of nightingale/troubador an additional 20 seconds. Just don't cast the songs until the duration is long enough. With all the extension gear equaling 9m 12s + 1m 20s of nightingale/troubador, you can ride it out.

I see this so different. This is great for healing bard. It's got a little bit of everything for healing bard like the much needed skill+. Also like zidian said this goes well with ghorn plus if healing a Marduks tiara would be ideal where the nice set effect would also kick in. This peice is however a when your just out of things to get peice for the very serious bard.

Absolutely amazing piece for brd... if your buffing this is your piece of choice. The duration is a great bonus, and the CHR and wind skill go great with a Ghorn.
