If you are benefiting from the set bonus, even just 2/5, this can actually beat Thaumas Coat against targets that have high defense.

Outside of that, this is a really great evasion piece, especially if you wear the other two evasion pieces from Usukane +1 (Head and Hands), allowing you maintain high haste and a decent mix of offensive stats.

For Samurai with a 480 delay weapon, this and Usukane +1 feet and a good combination for other StP gear you can make a 4 hit and have 24% haste.
