Apparently on Lightsday its also 1MP/tic refresh.

I've just confirmed for myself(in game) that in order to get refresh on lightsday from the "Cait Sith's Favor" effect, you must have the Cait Sith Guard +1 and the Cait Sith Cap +1 equipped.
If you don't have both equipped at the same time on lightsday, you WILL NOT get the refresh effect!
Now, I'm just 'ASSUMING' that you'll not get the magic defense bonus(MDB) either unless both the shield and cap are equipped, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
