Iga Shuriken is introduced late in march 2012.

And now, 4 MONTHS LATER :
Current AH cost for 1 craft : 129.000 gils.
With 4 NQ and no break a x12 stack cost is 516.000 gils.
A x99 stack would cost to the crafter of 4.257.000 gils.

How many were sold in 4 months ?

Oh meh, now the "adjusted" Sange.. rofl as anyone would EVER waste merits in that, with the currently shurikens we can have.

If it happens that any SE dev read this here (I doubt it): We want NEW and BETTER shuriken, that stacks up more than just to damn 12, that cost less than then whole server economy!
