Dropped from the 2nd fight with Bahamut. Either this OR the Dragon's Staff will drop 100%

Quite simply the best endgame summoner weapon in the game i havent looked back scince i got this and man going from dragging 8 staves around to just 3 (light dark and bahamut) its pleasing to teh inventory space as well, good damage on it for mellie along side avatar while soloing too.

@ Piplup it really really hasn't. While the Fay Crozier does indeed have the Avatar Perpetuation -3, which is the most appealing part of the Bahamut's Staff, it does not have the Summoning Magic Skill, or the MP.

Since the Fay Crozier can get BP delay -, and Pet: Attack/Acc/Mab +, it makes for a fantastic all around SMN Staff. However, for something like Blood Pact: Wards, Using a Spirit, or Elemental Siphon, the Bahamut's Staff still has it beat.

Bahamut's Staff still has it's uses, though the main use that most SMNs get it for can now be gotten from the Fay Crozier, so it has lost a lot of it's appeal.

Really Quick, all this "This staff is > This staff" etc etc is stupid.

First off, Bahamut's Staff is nice, for BP:ward if you're unlucky with the other 50+ pieces of gear that can cap your BP:Ward Duration. Bahamut's is the end-all best when using Elemental Siphon, thats without a doubt.

HOWEVER, There is 100% No argument that a good Fay Crozier will outpreform Bahamuts when TP'in or using BP:Rage, and generally for all around Idle purposes when an Avatar is out.

If you have Bahamut's Staff, get a Staff with 3 of the following Macc/Matk/Acc/Atk/BP Delay-?

if you don't have Bahamut's, get a Perp-3 Staff with 2 of the Above! and work on getting a second staff with better Augments!

Fay Crozier and Bahamut's Staff still have their niche. The only thing Bahamut's Staff has on Fay is Elemental Siphon, so don't feel bad as a SMN Main if you can only get

Fay Crozier with perp -3 is certainly a great substitute. However, this staff still has a wow factor like no other SMN staff except Nirvana, and I've never met a SMN who has said they don't want this because they have a Fay Crozier.

Wish to god they would add magian moogle quests for items like this... Took a long time to get this item and if the fay staff wasnt bad enough now its basicly been raped by the magian weapons. (-6 perp at this time) oh well QQ etc.
