These have only one purpose: A proper 6 hit build. At 75 with 5/5 STP merits, a SAM only needs 11 STP in gear for a 6 build with a 450 delay GK. Sounds complicated, but it really isn't. Wear these instead of dusk or kotes, along with rajas ring, and you can also freely ws in alkys and rutters without breaking your 6 hit build.
These are okay to TP in if you don't yet have 5 Store TP merits and are necessary for a 6-hit build. I find they are also acceptable if you don't have Dusk Gloves and are using Fuma Sune-Ate for a haste build.
lvl75 with TP Merits pre Rajas, your 6hit is Hachi Hands and Feet and Chiv Chain. When you get your Rajas, i would say swap out the feet for something else. if there is a better setup. please enlighten us, instead of just saying "this item sucks, you dont need it"
With new levels and weapons comes new uses. With the new ToM GK Keitonotachi which has store tp these gloves can be very useful in creating a 5 hit build for Sam. The DoT for that GK will undoubtedly be the new standard for the not so elite Sam who don't have time or resoures to get masamune.
actually the o-kote are better in terms of att. If you are going against high def mobs def use them then macro these in for ws. If you go for the 6-hit tp build, use these but keep the o-kote. A true player keeps more than one set of gear on him at all times. ;) my blm has 3.
Yes you really should use these instead of O. kotes. I compared them side by side and WS's did more dmg with these. Also I think these have hidden effect of WS acc+. Just look at my price history if you don't believe me I sold the O. kotes right after I bought them lol.
