lol Might be fairly ugly, but is one of the better head gears in game for any job that wants to use it (at least until 75 and the Haste turban)
the ACC is good for uncapped/merited weapons and the EVA is very nice for solo'ing

This may be one of the ugliest pieces of equipment in the entire game, it is also one of the best and most helpful pieces you will ever have.

+10 Accuracy is ALWAYS helpful. Especially for those merit parties on high EVA mobs (IE. Nyzle Isle > Bhafleau Thickets: Greater Colibri). The +10 ACC from this greatly helps to build TP if you're not using a Haste setup, and it also greatly increases your Weapon Skill damage (because you can actually hit the mob).

+10 EVA is also always useful, especially to those NIN tanks and long-time soloers who would like to help reduce the amount of times they get hit.

+10 RACC is also an amazing thing for RNG's and their Weapon Skills, and also great for those THFs, SAM, and NINs using ranged attacks as well.

Like I said in the beginning: this piece is ugly, but useful as hell and probably one of the best pieces most people will ever attain.

This hasn't been mentioned, but the O Hat is obtained by trading a Hakutaku Eye Cluster to a ??? in the Den of Rancor.

Every respectable DD should have this, either in inventory or in future plans. Be ready for a big pain to get it; finding people, people DC'ing, helpers leaving, DDs overdamaging the tank because some have no HNM or Sky experience and just fight TP-burn party style, not to mention you'll find very often 5, 6 or even more other people wanting the Hat, so be ready for a loooooong run.

I could have twice the taste of losing a cluster: very, very awful feeling :-/

But once you have this you can say pheeeew and feel lighter :-)

@Zanno - people don't actually have this item "in their bazaar". When people have a rare/ex item listed in the bazaar field, it means they are going to do the fight and allow someone to lot on it for the amount listed to the left. Basically they're selling the drop/fight to help the buyer avoid the headache of obtaining the item through a pickup party or other means. I guess it's technically a mercenary type business.

definately badass piece. used to be a statement if you had this. not so much anymore. still a good headpiece for acc/tp build gear sets and for skill up sets. recommend ever serious melee char gets one.

Great piece of equipment to have. If you know a BST LS..join it. I joined one and we are 3/3 on 1 night of runs with only 5 BST. Long fight though, haha..

Multiple BST setup is the ideal way to approach the fight as AoE is crazy.

Pefect for any Thief pulling in abyssea experience parties. The RACC will help your acid bolts land, and the Evasion will help you keep your shadows untill the alliance gets hate, and you go out for your next pull.
