Most people will overlook this piece when looking at which of their AF to upgrade. Consider this, though. Testing has shown that the "reduces spellcasting time" is different from ordinary fast cast, in that both the cast time and recast are reduced by 5% (on top of the light/dark arts bonus), rather than having the recharge reduced by half as much as the casting time (for instance, 2% CT reduction, 1% recharge reduction). For long recharging black magic spells, such as drain, aspir, gravity, and bind, having the +3 INT on top of this nice bonus may be a reasonable trade-off over feet that offer a bigger accuracy bonus, such as Goliard Clogs.

Probably best used under Light Arts in combination with Argute Mortarboard. Cymmina pretty much covered most of the details, however, Goliards/Yigit/Rostrum are in different leagues for Enfeebling (+4 INT/MND +2 MAcc) compared to just +3 INT. I wouldn't consider it a fair trade off, especially in situations where you need a spell to land (EX: Brothers ENM).
