Confirmed drop from HKCNM 50 "The Mobline Comedy" in Mine shaft #2716. Did six runs, notable drops were as follows; Thunder V, 2x Earthcry Earrings, 2x Hagneia Stones.
My logical assumption is that this will add extra damage absorbtion to cap. Likely be able to be used in conjunction with the other SS pieces:
-Haven Hose (+20 DMG absorbed)
-Stone Gorget (+30 DMG absorbed)
-Stone Mufflers (+30 DMG absorbed)
-Siegel Sash (+30 DMG absorbed)
With the stoneskin cap naturally being: 350 + 110 = 460 (This number might vary slightly from person to person, wiki says siegel sash is 30 however my ffxi calc says 20.) I expect the earring to be a +20 as it's only rare like haven hose.
All in all, sweet piece. Although i'm running outta macro lines... gd 360.
damn straight here we go again with the PS2 limitations argument again. Keep releasing situational gear and we'll keep needing more space.
Keep releasing sidegrades instead of upgrades and we'll need more space.
Here's hoping SE will finally move past those limitations and give PC users what their machines can handle (100+ macroable gear pieces in inventory at one time please!) and the masses will cheer. Until then, let the bashing of a dated platform continue.
..and this from someone who adores his classic FF titles on PS2, who still owns his original NES and SNES (complete with the blow technique for all cartridges) in working condition.
some people fully gear thier jobs..this takes my blm from 71 to 72 inv spaces (close to same on pld, close to same on rng, close to same on sam) when fully geared, leaving very little to hold good drops or npc'able stuff...
What SE needs to do, and I think intends to (see the recent survey about which system ppl play on), is phase out ps2 support.
