Hey! :)

I'm on "The Ygnas Directive 6" and am looking for strategies.

I'm a SMN w/Nirvana among other jobs and REMA. Just thinking SMN is best. Tried a AF/AC with Thunderspark and while doing 360K of dmg, the WHM was able to cure everyone w/its 1 hr. Maybe I should add in some Shock Squalls to the Thunderspack during AC.

I'd appreciate any / all helpful comments here or in-game.

Thank you. :)

Sleepga strats are unreliable because Nashu will wake everything up. Having a human player tank to hold everything is much more reliable.

Finding another person with on/after and the desire to do it can be a problem (at least so far for me). I agree, though, an human tank w/multiple mob experience would be great.

Yet, I suspect I'm on my own for now (at least).

I was able to solo it (as in single player with trusts) using diabolos and Ramuh. I sleep/nightmare them until 3 went down, then switched to Ramuh to stun lock them to avoid build up of sleep resistance. If you have Nirvana then you have better gear than I do, so it should be achievable with a try or two.

Thank you for your reply, Stratton.

Did you consider using Shiva with sleepga and Rush?

What order did you take them down? Did you use either AF or AC?

I solo'd w/ trusts on bst using Bouncing Bertha.

At first I was going slowly. then I took a bit of AoE damage and a coouple trusts died I think.

then I popped Unleash and figured I should have just done that from the start.

I would thing Conduit w/ Thunderspark/Shock Squall would be sufficient on smn.

If you keep a few shock squall in there, won't the whm be stunned and not be able to benediction before you kill'em?

I guess you mentioned the shock squall already. i think thats a good plan.

Did you win on BST w/Bouncing Bertha?

The wiki described them as highly resistant to light, so I assumed dark sleep would work better than Ice. I have no quantitative proof that it is true. I knocked off whm first, then blm. At that point Nashu went full pants on head HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and spamming Banishga so I really not sure which minions died next. I beat it on second try and did not have either of my 1hr abilities.

There's no such thing as an ice-based sleep.

Think I also did it on BLU and had a pretty easy time. Dream Flower removes the need to tank everything at once.

While you are more than likely correct. Both wiki and bgwiki list all Shiva bloodpactss as Ice based. And being happy with Cait Sith's And Diabolos' sleep, I have never seen a need to dedicate time to testing it.

Shiva is an Ice Avatar. The sleep is dark based. The wiki just lists the element of the avatar, but that's completely unrelated to the element of the spell. It's just a normal sleepga spell.

Additional Notes:

Inflicts dark-based sleep and is a dark-based blood pact, despite the ice icon.

What I did was bring another SMN who used Shiva to keep the monsters asleep and Rushed them, while I AF/AC and Volted the king till dead and then started on the other ones. It was over quick and no one died.
