I would expect even more players to kneel at the anthem today thanks to Trump's stupidity. He made it worse.
The more players that do the more money the NFL will lose out on and the more people will flock to Trump.

Nothing is as sure of a bet, as the public's loathing of whining millionaires that somehow think America isnt fair.

Ohhhhh, that explains a lot. This is a perspective from an alternate reality. I was getting concerned there for a bit.

So it looks like 3 teams didn't even show up for the anthem today, candidate trump took a small protest that was garnering about 10 players a week and united hundreds of players against him. No longer is it a murky situation, everyone is now united in protesting one person that is supposed to be President. And now baseball has gotten involved, and of course the NBA will be heavily involved as well. The spin from the right is already hilarious, its just gonna get better I'm sure.

Vic should work for cnn with his constant spin of everything Trump does. NFL viewership was down today which will be proved when ratings come out next week. I saw the story on espn about all the empty seats.

NFL ratings have been steadily declining for way more reasons than Kaepernick.

1. The games often suck and are uncompetitive.
2. Too many rules and fines. People didn't dub the NFL the "No Fun League" for no reason.
3. Excessive injuries, especially concussions.
4. Scandals, such as Ray Rice and Deflategate.
5. People are cutting the cord and switching to streaming services. TV ratings as a whole are declining.

Kaepernick was nothing more than a scapegoat. Now it's bigger than that, and several players, teams, coaches, owners, and even the NFL commissioner have issued statements admonishing Trump. He should have kept his nose out of it.

Trumps critics react to him precisely the way he wants them to react. If you think he says these things without knowing thte value of the reactions, you're being shortsighted.

He's trolling them, doing it so as to cause an overreaction that he can benefit from.

Everytime an nfl player takes a knee, Trump gains 20 yards in the culture war.

It amazes me that people are still so blinded by their hatred for the guy that they act so stupid as to walk into his trap.

...Does anyone in the liberal media and/or the SJW crowd realize that their newest form of protest against POTUS is literally kneeling to him?

Like I said the spin is hilarious. There is no trap set by a trump temper tantrum. Spouting off nonsense is not a trap, at all.

I just read this article regarding the phenomenon that all broadcasted sports face. Technology has a lot to do with it:

So then you also realize how "dotarded" everyone who gets worked up over kneeling during the anthem, really is?

Players have been kneeling since before Trump was president so I don't even know how that would make sense.

Anyway, just more red meat for his base who think his idiocy is somehow deeper than the bad trolling it actually is.

Simple question who is more powerful the POTUS or some guy that plays basketball.

Depends.

I imagine at some point in their conversation one of them asked the other:

"HAVE YOU SMOKED TEH CRACK?!"

I'm sad that I only have seven years left of the Trump administration knowing how tortured liberals are every day of their lives. Obsessed. Depressed. Miserable. Every day.

Oh yeah Jared Kushner's e-mail. Have fun obsessing about that for a couple weeks. I'll save you the trouble. No one cares. Get over it :)
