California Prop. 63

SB880

SB1383, otherwise known as the Cow Fart Law

SB1322, otherwise known as the Child Prostitution Legality Act

AB857, otherwise known as "Well, there's a federal law that requires registration of all manufactured guns, we are going to impose a law that requires all guns, regardless of origin of manufacturing, to be registered in California too. Yup, we are piggybacking off of Federal law and require other states to give us their gun registration rolls. And because we said so, it's totally legal and won't be ruled against us in the US Supreme Court. Cause we are awesome like that" law. They really need to fire the guy who names their laws.

Or California Proposition 63.

Or California AB857.

Or California SB1322.

Notice a pattern here?
Waitafrickingminuet. You are still in TX right? What's this sudden infatuation with CA?

As a whole CA is more liberal than Austin.

Interesting article about the resurgence of democratic socialism right here, right now, Trump era:

Donald Trump Has Made Socialism Cool Again
The Democratic Socialists of America are fighting the president—and the liberals they blame for his win.

Mother Jones

But read it anyway.

I call ***. I present to the court of FFXIAH the following evidence:

1) Fonewear was never married longer than 24 hours, as we still have yet to find the body.
2) Ni has been missing it's supply of chloroform as of late.
3) The website's bank account specifically shows that somebody ordered a Russian bride to be delivered in New Jersey. Now, obviously this is a ruse as nobody smart enough to hack into a bank account lives in Jersey, but it has Applecrunch's fonewear's fingerprints all over the hack.

Speaking of which, I just got my privilege checks in the mail. These new requirements are getting worse every year. I remember when all I had to do was be a straight white male. Now I have to maintain a country club membership, keep a decent golf handicap, watch a NASCAR race twice a year, and eat a lot of mayonnaise. When will it stop?

Love him, hate him, despise his very existence, nobody can deny that Trump is a winner. He won against every Republican candidate and even beat her Majesty in the final knock out round.

Of course the internet armchair warriors would tell us all that *they* could of won it themselves, if only they could find the time and effort to get their overweight ***'s out of their armchairs.

People don't seem to like winners these days. I mean Hillary Clinton (loser) won the popular vote. It's like they can relate to her defeatist attitude. It is easier to be a victim and blame others for all of your problems. To this day Hillary can't accept she is why she lost...still blaming others.

It's a question of moving goalposts. She did "win" the popular vote. So Trump is illegitimate...

...except he's not, because popular vote was not the agreed-upon metric of victory.

I am not happy Trump won*, but I accept that he won by the established conditions for victory in the election.

*Also wouldn't have been thrilled with Hillary winning. I maintain that this election was a reflection upon our country and looking in the mirror was gross regardless of who you supported.

Especially in the post election period I remain convinced that there was no one else that would have beaten Clinton.

Even the WaPo's polling shows Trump ahead of Clinton if another election were held today. According to them, Clinton would be down 6 points from before, while Trump's numbers remain the same.

The Dems need to spend less time on their Trump witch hunt and more time filling their leadership void, because they're not hurting him nearly enough to make up for their own weaknesses. It doesn't help that the head of the DNC is so out of his mind that even Elizabeth Warren is taking issue with his statements.

Is it me or does this seem like an incredibly dumb poll?

It's almost intuitive. The vast majority of people who supported Trump, even if they're not completely happy with his performance, wouldn't completely throw their values away, whereas many Dems/Libs have found that they've soured further on Clinton, which hell...they may have at the time and just been voting *against* Donald.

I mean, that's where I fall anyhow. Never liked her as the candidate. Her running mate was weak (let's face it, even if you despise Pence, you know him and he's taken action on items he believes in). And she's just...dirty. You don't work as board member for Walmart and have the best interests of liberal ideals in mind. You just...don't. She's never been a good choice for Dems.

Or, rather, from a liberal-leaning person, I feel she's never been a good choice for Dems. If you're a conservative with a strong distaste for the left then she's probably an ideal choice for, and strong representative of, Dems as she represents a lot of problematic issues of the left.

Well, I'm definitely not taking the polls at face value and haven't for a while (especially after the 2016 fiasco). You're right to one extent in that some of this is intuitive. However, you would expect that all the negative coverage would be having a more noticeable effect on Trump's own base. If not, why is so much time being spent on a failed opposition strategy?

I wouldn't expect that. I'm pretty sure the election threw that strategy out the window. There was verifiable inappropriate (traditionally-speaking, anyhow) ***Trump did and his supporters loved it. For better or worse.

Bahamut.Ravael said: »

Because the Democrats firmly rejected any sort of shift in policy or direction commensurate with the century in which they're living and while they got the memo about the above, they sort of just skimmed it and wiped their *** with it and went back to business as usual.

Some did, and those are the people the media targets in their "stories." That way, they can portray the "typical Trump voter" to be <insert derogatory/deplorable term>. Most people who voted for Trump don't give a ***about some of the things he did (in his private life) or what he posts on Twitter (pre- and post-election).

You also forget to add that they continuously state that they are on the "right side" of the argument.

Case in point: Obama's argument that he is on the "right side of history."

Well that's just silly. Anyone who has ever looked at a political chart knows they're on the left.
