What combo's is everyone currently using?

I tend to go for.

Healer - Karaha-Baruha or Mihli Aliapoh(for some one with more HP, coffin does not cast shell/pro)

DD- Zeid 2, Semih Lafihna, Noillurie, Prishe (Back up healers for those 2) Selhteus.

Tank - Gessho

Support - Arciela

Other - EXP moogle.

Been trying to solo some hard mode battles recently on Very easy.(6 main avatars, shadow lord and Tenzen seem to be easiest) Some times i take a mage type like the new Ullegore trust.

Managed to take down Fenrir for the first time and used Coffin since he does not waste all his MP recasting pro/shell every time they are dispelled.

Anyone have any tips on who else to bring to those fights?

Yesterday I took my SMN from 78-99 using:

Sylvie - For Refresh
Karaha - Healer
Trion - Tank
Maximillion - DD
Semih - DD

This worked really well. I was sticking to soft mobs but they were usually around VT and some IT when I started in the specific area.

78-81: Heraldic Imps in Caedarve Mire (These were only toughs)
81-85: Rockmill and Gadflies in Gusgen
85-91: Trimmer and Natty Gibbons in Dangruf Wadi
91-96: Dancing Jewels and King Crawlers in Crawlers' Nest
96-99: Boulder Eaters in Gustav Tunnel

Does Tenzen II always open up skillchains? Ayame seems much better considering she melees and benefits from marches as well as uses Hasso.

Are Balamor attacks dark elemental or neutral? Cause I need to fight a Gravitaion Elemental and am not sure he'll work out c_c

edit: it appears he's darkness afterall, moreover I discovered he cannot be healed

Tank - Gessho
Without August, Amchuchu is the best.

Balamor is undead, technically, so no, you can't heal him.

Gessho is a reliable blink tank that I've used against the Gessho HT fight. Amchuchu is indeed good, and very reliable for things that Rune Fencers are capable of, but due to subjob restrictions on trust there are things that Gessho is better for.

Once I get August, I'll test more with him, bug from seeing him in action I believe him to be a very good Paladin trust.
You can still cure Balamor, with Waltz.

Question: it says in the wakthrough for getting Mumor II that if you don't already have the original Mumor from last year, you can get it by syncing 5 dances in the first part of the show. I've already done the show once to get the outfit, and once more to get Mumor II. The second time I did sync 5 dances in the first half so I was expecting to get both trusts from the Moogle, but I only got Mumor II. Do I need to do it a THIRD time for Mumor or did I do something wrong? Should I perhaps not have the event gear on?

Yes, you must do it a third time, in costume, to obtain it.

The Sakura trust isn't always available right?

I'm missing it on the mule I'm currently running through missions for a laugh/break, and don't see the cipher for sale at the FoV/GoV books.

They have some general behavior/ability differences and are typically improvements over the original. Some have more differences than others, such as Mumor II being a black mage and using all her special event dances as WS.

Tenzen II seems to be worse. He doesn't benefit from marches or sambas. I don't have Tenzen I, though, so I have no parses or anything.

Mumor II reminds of when Mumor herself became available. She's just so good it seems a waste not using her for me now. I reckon she's cut a second or two off my average battle time whilst CP farming.

That's with her being a straight replacement for Mumor trust itself.
Which I was using due to fighting stuff that has annoying if not significant TP moves. And Mumor is a doll at stunning TP moves in my experience.

Whilst Mumor II can still stun, it's way rarer for me in the few days that I've been using her so far.
Difference though? The mobs die fast enough for them to get TP moves themselves way way less.

Is there any obviously quicker way to dismiss all 5 trusts, other than manually targeting each one and releasing them?

I'm playing about on a mules SMN for a few days. And she's into the 60's now and needs to keep recalling them every time she levels.

Not done this in ages because I just generally bum around on my BST/99.

I don't know of any quick way to dismiss them while solo other than what you just described.

BUT if you're in a party with at least one other player, you can use the party option on the menu, choose to remove a party member, and kick one of your trusts - it'll kick all of your trusts at the same time.

Thank you so very much ^^

To think of the time I have spent dismissing my trusts. I should have asked this a long time ago lol.
