Now that the first level cap increase in 7 years is about 3 weeks away from us............
What are your thoughts/ideas about the future quests for the level raise?

Correct me if I am wrong as I don't have the date, but if the add-on is coming out close to the update then I'd suspect something to do with it.

For DNC we probably fight Laila's mom in the past. I'm going to do my breaks on DNC so should be fun...

Doesn't matter the level, unless the actually adjust the mob kirin and make him weaker, 80 85 90 99 ect, not going to solo him lol

I am in no way implying soloing Kirin is possible, was a joke.
Which I was meaning, to break the 75 genkei you'd have to solo kirin to even be able to reach the next cap which most believe to be 80.

I was under the impression that Square Enix had said in an interview that there would be no quests to increase the level cap further. I really have no idea where that interview is now, so I suppose you can take that with a grain of salt.

Someone needs to find the info from the Fanfest as I remember them saying that there wasn't going to be any more quests. You just go out and xp until you reach cap.

They did indeed say in an interview there would be no quest for the level 80 cap. I would venture to say that in order to break it, you first need your level 75 exp points capped, then acquire 10 merit points, and finally get 10,000 limit points (an 11th merit if such a thing were possible). After that, all the merit and limit points are spent, and merits are no longer accessible until level 80, or at least Group 3s ^^
